Question

How do I reset a node in my cluster to either re-add it to the cluster or add it to another cluster?

You can reset a standby or dead node in your cluster. This function removes the existing cluster configuration but leaves the helpdesk data intact. There is an additional guide on how to remove helpdesk data in the cluster guide pages link.

After resetting a node with this method you will then be able to re-add it to the cluster it was part of, or add the node to a new cluster.

You will need to confirm that you want to proceed with resetting the node

Once completed you can check that the node has been reset by running a node cluster list

opc cluster node list
copy

The command will give an error as there is no existing cluster configuration on the server.
