Question: How do I add an additional domain to my On-Premise instance?

Answer:

In the On-Premise Admin panel go to the instance that you want to add an additional domain to.

Under the "Access" section you have the button + Add Domain image.png

This will open a second page: image.png

Domain name - Here you will need to enter the domain that you want to add to the instance.

To validate the domain you will need to have port 29443 open on your firewall as this is used to send a request to check the domain is valid.

For domain security we offer three methods:

  • Self-Signed - This will require users to bypass a browser secuirty warning when accessing the domain you are adding. image.png

  • LetsEncrypt - This will use the LetsEncrypt service to generate an SSL certificate, you will need to supply a contact email address and agree to LetsEncrpyt's terms and conditions. image.png

  • Custom SSL - If you have a custom SSL certificate you can add the RSA public and private key pair to add the certificate to your instance. image.png

You also have the option to add additonal domains at the same time with the + Add Domain button.

Once you have entered all the details, click Save Changes to add the domain to your instance.

Question: How do I remove a domain from an instance?

Answer:

To remove a domain simply click on the Remove button next to the domain you want to remove. image.png

This will open a pop up prompt asking for confirmation that you want to remove the domain. image.png

Once you confirm the removal, Deskpro will remove the domain from the instance and it will no longer show in the domain list.
