From the instance panel you have a Backups card on the main page. From this, can see when the last backup ran and a link to View Backups that will take you to the backup settings page:
This page has a number of options to control how the instance runs its backups and the option to remove older backups manually.
Backup Settings
Automatic Daily Backups Enabled You can enable or disable the daily backup that is ran by Deskpro. The time this runs can be changed within the global backup configuration page.
Include attachments in Automatic Daily Backup Choose if you want your helpdesk attachments backed up along with the daily OPC backup.
Backup Location is where you set a custom file path to a location on your server, this can be external drives as long as they are mounted to the specified directory here.
Instance Backups
Here you can run a manual backup by clicking on Manual Backup.
The list shows you the currently stored backups and allows you to download or delete them from the server, they are spilt into 3 groups:
Automatic Daily Backups - If Automatic backups are enabled, this is where you can manage the daily backup.
Pre-Upgrade Backups - Before upgrade work is carried out, Deskpro will make a backup of your instance that can be used to restore from if there are any problems with the update.
Manual Backups - This list contains all the backups generated by clicking the "Manual Backup" button.
In the instance backups you also have the options to download a backup as a .zip file or remove it with the waste bin Icon.
