Ubuntu has a built in automatic security updater (guide). It is recommended that you have this enabled to ensure any critical OS patches are applied when they are released. This is enabled by default, if you disable this feature this warning will appear.

Unattended updates file does not exist (/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/20auto-upgrades)
