To reset the OPC master password you need to access the OPC menu. Depending on how you set your OPC up you have a number of options to do this:
Accessing the OPC
Created the OPC using the Deskpro OVA file
If you created the OPC using our OVA file you can get a login link with a PIN code from your VM console. opening the console will provide a link to navigate to and the PIN required:
Naviagte to the provided URL, enter the generated PIN and click 'Continue' to access the OPC
Agent has full admin access on your helpdesk
If your agent profile has full admin access on your helpdesk, you can access the OPC from the left hand menu bar in your helpdesk:
Clicking this link will open your OPC in a new window and sign you in
Resetting the master password
Once you are able to access your OPC, navigate to the 'Access' tab from the left menu:
Here you have the Master password settings, clicking 'Reset Password' will allow you to update it:
Click continue to get to the main admin page. Select “Access” from the left side menu and click the “Reset Password” button in the Access menu on the right. ![Screenshot_20220630_135027.png)
You can enter a new master password here and click save to apply it to the OPC admin account.
The admin password must be at least 10 characters and contain at least 1 uppercase character, 1 number, and 1 special character.
