Clustering is a Deskpro enterprise feature, if you do not have an enterprise licence you will not be able to setup clustering, and will have a message stating that your licence needs to be upgraded.
An Overview of Clustering in Deskpro
OPC clustering supports a single-master setup with one main node and multiple secondary nodes. The secondary nodes can be configured as either HA nodes or Web nodes for load balancing.
High availability
This is creating a cluster with 2 or more nodes where 1 is the main and the others are in standby. The OPC and your helpdesk instances are served from the main node which sync's with the standby nodes to keep them upto date.
You can manually promote a standby node to be the main node should the main node go down, or if you want to take it down for maintenance
Load balancing
You can create a cluster with one main node and one or more second nodes that are configured to handle web traffic. This method requires a load balancer configured in front of your cluster to work correctly.
These guides contain instructions for both the WebGUI and the command line. The Web GUI interface can be found in the OPC left side menu
External services
The following services are not included in Deskpro clustering and are required to be installed and running on an external server(s), guides to do this are linked below: MySQL Elasticsearch Proxy server (this is required for Load balancing)
