Deskpro runs well on modest hardware. A typical helpdesk can run in a single node environment without any issues.
The hardware requirements table below provides a guideline of what you should typically expect to run Deskpro on:
Trial | Production | Large | |
---|---|---|---|
Expected Usage | 1 Agent | 10 - 60 Agents | 60+ Agents |
CPU | 2 Cores | 4 Cores | 8+ Cores |
RAM | 4GB | 8GB | 16GB+ |
Storage | 32GB | 128GB + Attachments | 128GB + Attachments |
IOPS | HDD/SSD/NVMe | SSD/NVMe | SSD/NVMe/S3 |
These guidelines expect Deskpro to run everything on a single server, but if you wish to use external services for Database and Elasticsearch, these can be configured in the OPC to reduce the load of your helpdesk server.
It is also possible to configure S3 compatible storage for attachments to reduce the required storage disk size,
