Creating a New Instance
In order to create a new instance, you will need to fill out the following required information:

Instance ID - This is a unique ID for your instance and is used to identify your instance and the services associated to it. It must be lower case alphanumeric.
Admin Information - This is the login details for the first user who will have full admin privileges across your helpdesk. You need to provide a name, email address and password.
The email address provided will be used to create the first admin user. Do not use an email you are planning for Deskpro to monitor (such as support@example.com), as this will prevent you from configuring that email account on your instance.
License - Upload your license file here. You can obtain your license file from the Deskpro members area, or request a demo license.
Access via IP Address - This selection allows you to choose if the instance should load if accessed directly from the IP address.
-- Custom HTTPS Port: As only a single instance can run on the standard HTTPS port (443). If you wish to run multiple instances on the same server via the IP, you must select a custom HTTPS port, or specify a domain.
If Access via IP Address is disabled, you MUST specify a domain, or your instance will not be accessible.
Access via domain - This allows you to specify hostnames which your instance can be accessed through. You must specify your default helpdesk domain and any additional brand domains here.
The domain name used for the instance cannot be the same as one that has been used for your OPC. You can use a unique subdomain for the instance and OPC names.
To secure your helpdesk instance currently Deskpro supports the following three SSL methods:
Self-Signed - This will require users to bypass a browser secuirty warning when accessing the domain you are adding.

LetsEncrypt - This will use the LetsEncrypt service to generate an SSL certificate, you will need to supply a contact email address and agree to LetsEncrpyt's terms and conditions.

Custom SSL - If you have a custom SSL certificate you can add the RSA public and private key pair to add the certificate to your instance.

Your hostnames must be configured in your DNS prior to creating your instance. This can be done by adding an A-record pointing to the instance's public IP address.
Once you have entered the required information, click Create Instance to continue.
Deploying your instance.
The OPC will now deploy your helpdesk instance:
