It would be nice to be able to : - change the parent of an existing category - give an existing category a parent (when it had no parent before) - be able to do both with drag and drop. Thanks!

Improvements there are very much welcome indeed. I would also like to be able to select the brands/department for each of the categories. For example, I have an installation company, which has a brand for individuals and another for businesses. Some of the categories of the latter aren't relevant to the former.

In addition to the original poster's request, it would also be good to be able to do the other way around: turning an existing child category into a parent category.
