Only certain versions of MySQL are supported to ensure proper functioning of Deskpro. Accordingly, we run checks against the version of the database that is in use by the instance to ensure it is a supported version.

MySQL 8.0 will be installed on the server as part of the OPC installation but it is possible to configure external databases if required. At this stage, the following external database versions are supported:

Database	Version
MySQL	>=8.0 and <9.0
MariaDB	>=10.5
