As CAS SSO solution is getting more and more popular as it is really easy to integrate with any project, I would like to suggest creating an out-of-the box integration for this technology using an Open Source library: https://wiki.jasig.org/display/casc/phpcas

We are about to release SSO based on JWT and SAML. Beta access is possible if you create a ticket.
