Properly retain global search order selected by user Collecting Feedback

The search order for the global (ElasticSearch) option should be retained. We usually set this to "last activity" because that yields the most relevant matches for us. Once set by a user, the setting should be retained indefinetely.

Now, it is reset back to default once a browser reload is triggered or after new login.
