It already is possible to create News items. It would be nice if we could also publish Calendar items / Events. We would use them to announce monthly training sessions for customers. Per brand it should be possible to limit the whole Events section or individual events to specific user groups.
Via the existing subscriptions model, users would be able to get informed about upcoming training opportunities. We would need to host the actual training event elsewhere (with our usual conferencing tool). To that end, a URL field and an option to make the button say 'Join' or 'Register' would be sufficient.
