At the moment, when a user logs in to the portal, they have to view each individual ticket to see its ID number. Can I change this so that users see the ticket ID on the list of their tickets? I want the IDs to be displayed here:
Yes. You just need to edit the portal template which creates that list.
1. Go to Admin > Portal > Templates.
2. In the Tickets section, find the list.html template.
3. Straight after this part of the template (line 25 of the default template code):
which will show the ticket's ID.
You should also add any text or HTML you want to use to affect how the ID is displayed.
