I&#039;m researching on the loading performance of the DeskPRO Tech man page with the Firebug net panel. We have 23 requests with 1.1 MB being downloads.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> For something that is supposed to be used by techs to enhance their productivity, it&#039;s doing quite bad. It takes several seconds to load each page, which is depressing.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> DeskPRO looks like old stuff because of this, and this is also bad. After all, web loading performance is not news anymore nowadays.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> I&#039;ve also noticed that JQuery, MooTools and ExtJS (the monster) are all being used at that same page. You should stick with a single library.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Things to be achieved:<br /><br /> - Reduce the number of requests to the very minimum.<br /><br /> - Reduce the download size to the minimum.<br /><br /> - Enhance the user experience (making it really usable).<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Thanks,<br /><br /> Fred
