Kanban view organizes tickets as a visual workflow, this is useful for helpdesk's that run specific processes or projects like a Sales or Development flow.
The View lets you easily manage progression in a project workflow with a simple drag and drop functionality.
To view the helpdesk in Kanban View, select this icon from the top of View Panel:
You can currently enable Kanban View in the Ticketing interface.
Viewing Options
Kanban View offers a lot of flexibility in viewing properties. The different properties are managed in the top right-hand side of the interface when in Kanban mode:
Sort
Sorting controls the order that cards are displayed within a column, i.e. Created from most recent to oldest.
In Kanban view, sort has the same options as in other viewing modes, which include:
Agent
Agent Team
Created
Last Reply
Department and more.
Group
In Kanban, group dictates what property the columns in the board will be grouped by. You can change this by selecting options from the dropdown menu:
Card Size
You can change the size of the cards on the board between Small, Medium, and Large with the size setting.
View
Similar to in card view, you can add other properties, including custom fields, to be displayed on a card with the View option. When you add properties they will be displayed on the card in Kanban View without you needing to open the ticket.
For example, if you have Labels added into view your cards with labels added to them will be visible:
Opening Items
You can have multiple items open at once, they are opened in the content panel and can be moved between using the open tabs in the Header.
When you open an item in Kanban View it opens the item in the Content Panel in front of the cards in the view, similar to Table View.
You can use the Back to Queue button to navigate to other tickets:
Clicking the Kanban icon again, will bring you back to the Kanban View of tickets. Or selecting the dropdown icon will show you the other tickets in the view of the Kanban:
You can also jump to a different viewing mode from the dropdown by selecting the another viewing mode icon on the menu.
