Question: How do I start or stop the Deskpro container and Cron services in the on premise controller?
Answer: From the instance admin page click on "Settings"
This will open a page that allows you to stop or start the container and cron services.
If the services are already running you will only be able to stop the services. If they are already stopped, you will only be able to start them.
When you stop a service you will be given a prompt that asks for confirmation, as stopping these services will cause your helpdesk and automatic tasks from running until they are started again.
If you have email notifications enabled an alert will be raised when these services are stopped. There will also be a banner on the instance pages advising that these services are not running.
