As new features and bug fixes are released often, we recommend keeping your On-Premise Controller up to date to have access to the full capability of the service.

To update your OPC, you can do so through the following methods:

Web

At the top of any OPC window, if there is an upgrade available for the OPC, a button will display at the top of the page.

Clicking the button asks you to confirm if you want to upgrade, and shows the version you will be updating to.

Once you confirm the upgrade, the OPC will run the update command and show the output.

CLI

To update your OPC through the CLI, first run the following command to check for any available updates:

sudo opc update-version-cache
 copy

Once the version cache has been updated you can update your OPC with the following command:

opc update-opc
 copy
