AllowOverride Allenabled (which enables the .htaccess file).
So that is: Change the old path to the “www” sub-directory of the new DeskPRO directory.
Paths may appear in multiple locations depending on how you have Apache configured. Most often these are:
AllowOverride All. If you don’t see this anywhere in your current configuration, add it with a block like this:
<Directory /path/to/NEW_deskpro/www> AllowOverride All </Directory>
Here is a minimal example
<VirtualHost *:80> ServerName www.example.com ServerAdmin email@example.com DocumentRoot /path/to/deskpro/www <Directory /path/to/deskpro/www> AllowOverride All </Directory> </VirtualHost>
Verify and Check Requirements
After you have made the necessary server changes, load the following URL to test it:
You should see a simple page load that will show you if the server meets the minimum requirements. If your server is ready, you will see a message in bright green stating “All checks passed successfully. Your system is ready to run Deskpro”. If you see that message, you can proceed to the next step.
